SCOTTSDALE, AZ – October 4, 2024 – Construction companies seeking solutions to pressing workforce issues can look to the list of Construction Executive’s The Top Construction Technology Firms™ to partner with a high-performing partner like Arcoro, the leading HR platform built specifically for construction and specialty contractor workforce solutions.

This is the fourth consecutive year Arcoro has been recognized, underscoring the company’s commitment to solving the industry’s most pressing pain points surrounding workforce management. Arcoro was included for its solutions for Field Reporting/Daily Reporting software and Labor, Time and Attendance.

“The construction industry needs to keep pace to address workforce challenges and know where to find the strongest solutions,” says Megan Stillerman, Chief Customer Officer at Arcoro. “Being included on Construction Executive’s list of The Top Construction Technology Firms demonstrates that we continue to meet our mission of offering the best construction solutions to our customers.”

Now in its twenty-second year of publication, Construction Executive is the leading trade magazine about the business of construction. Published in its Sept./Oct. 2024 issue, CE’s Top Construction Technology Firms list was developed by asking hundreds of firms that provide technology and software solutions for the construction industry to complete a nomination form.

The information collected included: 1) the firm’s product offerings specific to the AEC industry; 2) the user profile (type and size of firm for which each product is recommended); 3) how each product is sold (by seat, user, license and/or project, etc.); and 4) the number of active users within the past 12 months (by individual users and/or companies).

There was no fee to participate and not every firm that completed the nomination form made this curated list. After carefully scrutinizing the data collected, the 2024 list of CE’s Top Construction Technology Firms was developed. For more information, contact surveys@magazinexperts.com. Note: Some technology firms that did not submit the nomination form by the deadline were included for the sake of completeness.

Technology touches every part of our lives in some way. We use it to simplify grocery orders, pay bills and communicate. So, it’s surprising that technical advances haven’t been incorporated into all industries, especially when it comes to Human Resources (HR).
There are more than 180 federal labor laws administrated by the US Department of Labor (DOL) that cover workplace activities for about 150 million workers in 10 million workplaces. These laws cover wages, hours, safety and discrimination. Additionally, there are state-level laws that impact employment, such as right-to-work laws, which are currently in effect in 26 states.
As construction season ramps up, so does the risk to those working on or near our nation’s roads. According to the US Department of Transportation, there is one work zone fatality for every 4 billion vehicle-miles traveled and for every $112 million spent on roadway construction. And those numbers are rising. Between 2020 and 2021, work zone fatalities increased by 10.8%, while overall roadway fatalities rose by 10.3%.
