Arcoro Case Study
Easy-To-Use ATS Gives More Hiring Power to Surgery Supplier
Arcoro helps reinforce employer brand, attract mobile job seekers and simplify hiring and reporting for surgery equipment supplier. Here’s their story.
Surgical Specialties Corporation manufactures and supplies medical practitioners with high-quality medical devices ranging from steel surgical knives, sutures and needles to microsurgical cutting instruments. With 40 years in the market employing a geographically dispersed workforce with high compliance requirements, they faced unique hiring challenges.
They needed an applicant tracking system that was fully mobile in order to reach more qualified candidates.
“Many of our hiring managers are on the road,” said Surgical Specialties Corporation Senior HR Manager Jane Clough. “It’s rare that they’re ever in the office at a computer, so we needed an ATS that was mobile-optimized and available on their smartphones. Our job seekers also expect an easy mobile-apply process.”
Manual recruitment process lacked functionality
According to Clough, Surgical Specialties was using an ATS that lacked the functionality they needed to meet their business goals. This meant they were using time-consuming manual recruitment processes. “We knew there was better functionality available. We wanted to find an ATS that would automate and streamline our recruitment process,” Clough said.
“I look forward to gaining more qualified candidates and building our employer brand with the Arcoro Applicant Tracking System.”
Mobile-optimized ATS provides ease of use and will help improve employer brand
Clough evaluated six different ATS systems before choosing Arcoro. In addition to streamlining the recruiting process, she was looking for a system that met her price point and was supported by a knowledgeable and responsive team. She also liked that the Arcoro system offered the option to add talent management modules as her company’s needs evolve.
“I look forward to gaining more qualified candidates and building our employer brand with the Arcoro Applicant Tracking System,” said Clough. Surgical Specialties also anticipates decreasing the time to fill a job opening and utilizing a more efficient process for communicating with applicants and interviewees.
